Job Description
• Able to plan and operate most of the spinning equipment in the facility meeting desired specifications.
• Determine the appropriate tools and develop efficient methods on most spinnings.
• Determine the necessary spin tools such as chucks, rolls and trimming tools necessary for the production of most spun parts.
• Develop the methods regarding the work to be spun over the equipment available within the facility including prototype and production spinnings.
• Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude.
Job Skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent and two (2) to five (5) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Numeric equipment experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
