Job Description
• Prepare and maintain records of all certifications as required.
• Prepare and evaluate test tabs and samples of actual work pieces.
• Communicate directly with outside metallurgical laboratories as required to maintain in-house equipment.
• Maintain tooling calibration, including disassembly and reassembly of precision tooling and corresponding records.
• Maintain logs of inspection, heat treat and welding stamps.
• Know how to read calibrated tooling and equipment such as but not limited to vernier calipers, height gages, pi-tapes, go/no go gages and micrometers.
Job Skills
• Minimum of 2 — 4 years of documented
• Basic computer skills are required
• Knowledgeable in the use of “V” blocks, jo-blocks, knees, planer and thread gages.
• CMM and/or FARO Arm experience.
• Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience or a degree in Metrology.
