Job Description
• Provide technical accounting expertise in the internal and external financial reporting function of the division, as well as provide proactive insightful financial analysis. Analyze operating results, coordinate budgeting, develop forecasts and provide recommendations for improvement. Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management.
• Assist the Sr. Financial Analyst with analyses and general duties.
• Create databases and templates in Excel for budgeting and other areas.
• Financial data entry into systems.
Job Skills
• Bachelors’ degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of Cost Accounting or Financial Analysis experience in a Manufacturing Environment, understanding reporting and analysis, job costing and government accounting.
• Strong business acumen and excellent analytical skills with the ability to apply originality and ingenuity to assignments.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Power Point, and Word.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Strong ability to interact well with a wide variety of people and personalities.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet many tight deadlines.
