Job Description
- Installs, troubleshoots and maintains an extensive variety of Telecom products and equipment.
- Trains end users, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures.
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers’ needs.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Represent company in a positive and professional manner
- Work with all personnel and outside contacts to satisfy clients and achieve goals
- Have a good working knowledge of Telecom Equipment
- Perform Telecom system installation and commissioning
- Perform repair activities on customer site.
- Perform assignments as directed by senior technical staff
- Provide timely and accurate field updates
- Travel to customer locations, documenting work activity
- Train other users as needed
- Follow appropriate procedures, either Software or Hardware, to resolve issues
- Work within established guidelines and procedures.
- Perform any other duties assigned by your manager
- May be asked to perform Systems or Test engineering tasks in the factory when not in the field
Job Skills
- Must have field experience in Telecommunication systems installation and testing. In addition, the following qualifications will be needed:
- Strong communication skills
- Strong customer interfacing skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude.
- Minimum directly related experience of 3 years
- Valid Passport and be willing to travel (domestic and international) for business
- College education
- A technical degree or equivalent certifications in Engineering is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
