Job Description

• Assemble and wire difficult-to-complex electronics on prototype electrical systems, assemblies, breadboards, or components.
• With a high degree of skill and under minimal supervision, you will work from a variety of written, visual, and verbal instructions.
• Conducting wiring, soldering, and assembling operations required in the construction of complex electronic equipment
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
• Working from models, schematics, wiring diagrams, pictorials, or breakdown sheets
• Using color code for component identification
• Selecting proper gauge wire in accordance with run lists
• Performing cabling and harnessing
• Using soldering irons, pliers, cutters of various types, wire strippers, and other standard wiring and assembly tools in subassembly and final assembly procedures

Job Skills

• Able to maintain a positive work environment through professional and courteous conduct and communication with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors.
• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Technical trades school graduate or training in the military service, preferred
• At least 3 years of electrical assembly and wiring experience
