Job Description
• Design, develop, document, validate, and release software on Windows and Mac OS X platforms for USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi based dental and medical digital peripherals manufactured by company.
• Such software includes proprietary, TWAIN, and DICOM interfaces for image acquisition, preview, processing, analysis, and hand-off to third-party PACS systems; sample acquisition, viewing, and PACS systems; and diagnostic utilities for troubleshooting in the field and acceptance testing.
• Qt Development on Windows and Mac OS X platforms using Qt Creator, Visual Studio, and Xcode.
• MFC / ActiveX development on Windows using Visual Studio.
• .Net development using Visual Studio or Mono.
• Programming TWAIN data sources or TWAIN applications for Windows or Mac OS X.
• Windows and Mac OS X driver and low-level programming support for USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi peripherals.
• Development of streaming video and streaming high-definition video applications.
• Development of installation packages using InstallMate, Installer for Mac OS X, and Wise.
Job Skills
• Experience implementing image processing algorithms desired, but not required.
• BS in Computer Science.
• MS in Computer Science desired, but not required.
• Comparable degrees considered.
