Job Description
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs the efficiency and functionality of company
products in order to ensure customer satisfaction
• Receive documentation on prototype functionality and build samples of new products
• Test the overall functionality of prototypes and analyze functions down to the component level and software functionality
• Interact with engineers on prototypes and recommend revisions to the original documentation
• Receive return authorization with individual repair requests
• Interpret and follow written procedures and processes on the product
• Test the overall functionality of the product and troubleshoot down to the component and software levels
• Partner with engineer to communicate on-going issues to resolve them
• Properly document testing and repairs on products
• Interact with customers on the phone to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve field service issues
Job Skills
• 2-4 years experience in trouble shooting and repairing electronics to component level
• Experience in a technical support call center a plus
• Ability to use oscilloscope, DMM, frequency generator and various other test equipment
• Must be able to read schematics and identify electrical components
• Ability to perform surface mount and through hole soldering
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to test and troubleshoot down to the component and software levels.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn in-house system
