Job Description
• Performs required design and analysis of electromechanical systems which include spring loads, magnet properties and solenoid driven mechanisms within RF structures, in support of new and existing designs.
• Performs required design and analysis of Passive RF components which include RF circuit designs packaged in various mechanical housings.
• Develops new and maintains existing critical processes by SPC process control techniques such as, Pareto charts, Histograms and cause and effect diagrams.
• Defines elements necessary to meet project specifications; designs components to meet functional and operational requirements and determines the optimum location and arrangement from an engineering, manufacturing and/or service standpoint.
• Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates detailed phases of the mechanical engineering work in a part of a major project or total project of moderate scope.
• Supports new product development as well as new business opportunities during proposal stage.
• Evaluates new and emerging technologies involving material which improves thermal management and incorporates controlled expansion characteristics.
Job Skills
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline is required, a Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience in the analysis, evaluation, design and development of RF/MW equipment, electromechanical RF switches, solenoid/coil performance, properties and use of rare earth magnets, materials and plating process, test equipment and Passive components.
