Job Description
• Perform assembly, installation, maintenance, layout, repair or modification operations necessary to fabricate, join or otherwise manufacture aircraft lots, line and major assemblies, section and complete aircraft.
• Lifting, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, grasping, holding, reaching, pushing and pulling are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
• Ability to lift, carry and handle objects weighing 50-70 pounds is required.
• Four years of high school or equivalent vocational or similar training, including shop math to interpret and work from blueprints, specifications, manuals, and operation and work sheet instructions
• Maintain any/all required certifications
Job Skills
• Minimum two years related experience, providing knowledge of a wide variety of sheet metal repair techniques, fasteners and rivets
• May be required to handle, transport, and/or participate in clean up of minor hazardous waste spills. Prior to performing any of these activities, designated employees will be required to have satisfactorily completed training in Hazardous Waste Handling.
