Job Description
• Performs a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical or mechanical production sub-assembly and assembly operations of a semi-skilled nature to build up and assemble difficult and complex units by performing the following duties.
• Perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly.
• Works from production/assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components.
• Identifies and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units.
• Determines methods and sequence of assembly operations where complete information is not readily available or follows assembly shop and production operations sheets, wire lists, samples, blue prints, schematics and verbal instructions to perform a wide variety of assembly operations.
• Utilizes small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.
• Identifies and selects components to be integrated into sub-assembly and assembly units.
• Makes own set-ups, alignments and adjustments maintaining tolerance in accordance with instructions. May disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes, reassembles, and tests units as required.
Job Skills
• High school Diploma Required
• Minimum 3 – 5 Years Wirer/Assembly Experience
• Military/Aerospace/Electronics Experience preferred
• Must work well in group environment
• US citizenship or foreign residency required.
