Job Description
• Applicant will be required to take a short technical exam if chosen to interview.
• Associate’s Degree, Technical School Certificate, or equivalent experience.
• Math skills including decimal conversions.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical test or manufacturing position.
• Ability to use “high frequency” test equipment including but not limited to; Digital Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, and Spectrum Analyzers.
• Ability to set up and run: Thermal Shock and Burn-in Tests; and Life Tests.
• Ability to set up and test impedance at temperature extremes.
• Attention to detail.
• Test all Beta products including Scott-T transformers independently.
• Trouble-shoot and determine root cause of test failures in cooperation with Test Supervisor and Engineering personnel.
Job Skills
• Separate passing from failing devices based on test result.
• Responsible for filling out, recording and distributing all production test documentation required by the customer.
• Responsible for maintaining test data when applicable..
• Assemble and adjust all “bench” test setups and verify failures using “bench” test setups.
• Support Operations in ensuring product is efficiently and effectively moved through the Test Department
• Make recommendations to Operations on improving Test processes and Equipment
