Job Description
• Clean room experience is a MUST.
• Devise and implement advanced quality systems and procedures, inspection plans, quality performance trends, statistical plans, cost estimates and technical quality inputs to proposals.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing and Inspection personnel on procedural problems involving design, methods, tooling, cost and other areas involved in the control of product quality.
• Participate in the Material Review Board activities, failure analysis and corrective action investigations.
• Revise Visual Quality programs and/or associated procedures.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers relating to quality performance, trends and corrective action.
• Perform both in-house and supplier audits and surveys to assure compliance to specified quality requirements.
• Maintain current knowledge of state-of-the-art engineering techniques, procedures, instruments and equipment.
• Represent Company on IPC-610 Industry Committee.
• Provide classroom and/or one-to-one workmanship training (e.g.IPC-610 certification).
Job Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science, BSEE preferred, is required.
• Electronics manufacturing experience of at least five (5) years in an RF/MW components manufacturing, quality engineering role is also required.
• Proficiency with state-of-the art inspection and quality control techniques, procedures, instruments and equipment is mandatory.
• Excellent organization skills as well as skill in Microsoft office environment.
• Possess excellent communication skills with ability to exchange information and interface effectively with employees and/or customers clearly and concisely.
