Job Description
• Experienced in the inspection of hybrid devices needed to perform visual and limited mechanical inspections to required specifications.
• Perform visual inspections on hybrids at various stages of completion (die bond, wire bond, epoxy prep) using a microscope
• Inspect products to determine if all published product specifications and contract requirements are being met throughout the manufacturing cycle of the product
• Perform inspections employing inspection procedures, check lists, drawings, ECN’s, workmanship standards and defect codes
• Accurately identify and document all non-conformance in a detailed and timely manner
• Maintain accurate detailed records of the inspection results on a daily basis
• Inspect reworked and repaired product at various levels of completion
• Assist in incoming inspection of raw dies as needed
Job Skills
• Minimum of three (3) years experience performing in-process inspections of hybrid products in a military manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret blue print drawings, workmanship standards, method sheets and related visual aids, inspection procedures, check lists and to perform basic metrology
• Basic mathematical skills and computer literacy
• Ability to use basic measuring and test equipment
• Most importantly, a working knowledge of the following military/industrial specifications:
• Mil Std 883 (Test Method 2010, 2017 & 2032), Mil-Prf-38534, and J Std 001E and IPC-610E.
