Job Description
- To plan, organize and control production in an organization to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard.
- Develop, Implement and manage quality control systems.
Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality. - Implement and control the production schedule
- Supervising and motivating a team of workers
- Correct problems on production line
- Perform manufacturing, inspection or quality control operations as needed
- Maximize the production process to lower costs
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
- Develop and implement improvements to the production process
- Prepare and maintain production reports
- Manage production budgets
- Implement and oversee quality control programs.
- Develop and monitor product quality standards
- Ensure a high level of customer service by investigating and correcting customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
- Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and quality control objectives
- Monitor and control vendor quality of all purchased parts.
- Prepares product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
- Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems
- Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
- Manage equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement
Job Skills
- Bachelor’s degree – business administration, management, engineering, industrial technology preferred
- Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
- Knowledge of quality systems and standards
- Knowledge of process improvement technique
- Knowledge of machines and tool
- Knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices
- Solid computer skills
