Analyze project requests, proposals and engineering data to determine feasibility, cost and production time.
Analyze project requests, proposals and engineering data to determine feasibility, cost and production time.
Formulate mathematical models or other methods of computer analysis to develop, evaluate or modify design according to customer specifications.
Evaluate product data and design from inspections and reports for conformance to engineering principles, customer specifications and ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards.
Design valves to customer and/or internal specifications supporting Project Engineers as required.
Maintain records of performance reports for future reference.
Create reports as needed to support design methodology.
Coordinate and prepare design review for internal and external customers.
Coordinate and supervise testing in support of Manufacturing and Assembly.
Create Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) to inform customers what will be done during testing.
Create Qualification Test Procedures (QTP) showing what tests are required and how tests are to be performed. These tests will determine how the part will act under extreme conditions and how it will perform over its lifetime.
Participate in internal and external Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR).
Interface with internal and external customers as required.
Prepare models, details and drawing changes in CAD – Solidworks or similar CAD programs.
Troubleshoot rejected parts from clients.
