Job Description
- Responsible for working on computers to set up kits for the SMT line.
- Performing basic and rework on SMT components while interpreting IPC-A-610 standards and customer specifications.
- Set up and operate automated SMT assembly equipment including: Conformal Coat, Router, Screen Printer, Glue Dispensing Machine, Pick and Place Machine, Reflow Oven, Selective Solder, Agilent 5d-Xray.
- Perform basic soldering and rework of SMT components.
- Perform visual inspections of SMT assemblies.
- Interpret IPC-A-610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications.
- Flexibility to move between functional areas.
Job Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with SMT line a plus.
- Familiarity with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components and SMT assembly process a plus.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be fluent in writing, speaking and understanding English.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Familiar with and able to use hand tools, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, etc.
- Maintain a neat appearance about self and work area.
- Be able to be accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of work performed.
