Job Description
- Responsible for designing, developing and implementing cost-effective procedures of testing and troubleshooting of components, subassemblies, assemblies, and systems.
- Assignments include testability analysis, test procedure generation, design and development of test fixtures and programs, failure analysis and documentation and developing cost effective solutions to existing programs in test.
- Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment.
- Documents testing issues and problems.
- Performs analysis of test results.
- Supports formal system acceptance testing activities.
Job Skills
- Requires a BSEE or equivalent and a minimum 10 years of RF test design and development experience, OR, a Masters Degree and 8+ years of related experience.
- Familiar National Instruments LabView and LabWindows CVI programming.
- Must have experience with and be proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel applications.
- Experience interfacing with operations supporting Engineering and Test.
- Experience with RF products
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of RF and microwave test equipment including Network Analyzers and spectrum analysis; Familiarity with RF tuning and filter testing is a plus.
