Job Description
- Inspects a variety of complex electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical items for workmanship acceptability.
- Inspects complex and precision mechanical parts and assemblies for acceptability, using a variety of tools and gages, basic shop math and trigonometry.
- Accepts or rejects all inspected items using government, customer, vendor or internal specifications, schematics, blueprints, or other information to determine conformance.
- Records results of inspection on the appropriate records, such as Discrepancy Reports.
- Witnesses and evaluates field system tests at remote locations as required and in accordance with approved systems test procedures.
- Maintains a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients and vendors.
Job Skills
- High school or vocational school diploma with two years electrical engineering, electronics trade school, or equivalent military training or experience required.
- 3 years experience in electro-mechanical inspection required.
