Job Description
- Establish program milestone schedules for new orders
- Provide adequate planning to ensure on-time delivery
- Backward load schedule based upon Customer’s requirement
- Work Orders: Identify tasks; Times; Material (Cost; Lead Times; Other ERP/MRP Material Attributes)
- Maintain: Travelers; Budgets; Back flushing; Material/Sub-Assembly issues and receipts
- Cost Analysis
- Budgets
- Direct and Coordinate activities with Material Control and Purchasing on the requirements
- Required Dates based upon manufacturing schedule
- Kit Scheduling
- Tracking Reports: Status; Scheduled vs. Actual
- Expedites
- Establish tracking report on all assembly and test operations in manufacturing
- Track each process of manufacturing: Scheduled vs. Actual; WIP
Job Skills
- Must have a working knowledge with ERP/MRP software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office is a must: Excel, Project, Word, Access, etc…
- Internet research
- Interface with departmental managers: Supervise employees
- Customer Returns: Interface with Customer on return products (RMA; Provide quotes to Customer)
- Evaluation Fees
- Repair Charges
- Provide Status
- Track Return through repair cycle: From RMA generation through shipping back to Customer
- Cost Analysis
- Customer Interfacing: Provide Production Metrics (Schedule; Inventory; Production Status)
- Provide information on Customer’s Portal
- Off-Shore Facility
- Plan, Schedule, and interface with an Off-Shore Facility
- Milestone Billing
