Job Description
• Responsible for the application and maintenance of available scheduling tools for assigned programs, the maintenance of the program status, and the establishment of a baseline planning structure. Prepares and maintains program status information for management review. • Develops plans and schedules for Operations activities on programs of average complexity, or on portions of major programs under the technical guidance of senior Program Management personnel. • Analyzes various support data (computer reports, drawings, bills of material, lead times, fixed order quantities, etc.) to establish Master Demand and Manufacturing Kit Release schedules. • Generates appropriate documents to assure plans are properly input to Facility Master Schedule. • Investigates schedule impacts and recommends corrective action(s). • Compiles monthly program summaries and status packages. • Prepares charts, graphs and reports outlining program status against schedule for presentations to management and customers. • Develops schedules and status of Operations non-recurring activities associated with design release, tooling, process development and test equipment. • Assists in analyzing engineering change orders (ECO) activity to determine complexity and minimize cost and schedule impacts.
Job Skills
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a scheduler or planner in a manufacturing environment or scientific laboratory • Experience with Microsoft Project • Experience with configuration systems and knowledge of inventory • Microsoft Office experience • Preferred Qualifications: Earned Value Management (EVM) experience; Engineering Resource Planning (ERP); Production and planning tools experience
