Job Description
• Provides technical and administrative support to quality engineering efforts to ensure that both customer and company quality standards are met. Designs and develops methods and procedures for performance verification of electronic systems. • Ensures that production documentation contains the necessary criteria and provisions to guarantee effective performance verification. • Conducts quality audits. Reviews failure analysis of products and initiates corrective action for control and elimination of process deficiencies. • Performs vendor performance analysis and quality audit programs. • Coordinates and performs source inspections. Coordinates outside test lab activity. • May develop and/or review ATPs, QTPs, and STPs.
Job Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science, BSEE preferred. • Electronics manufacturing experience of at least three (3) years required in product/manufacturing, quality-engineering role. • Knowledgeable of state-of-the art inspection and quality control techniques, procedures, instruments and equipment. Knowledge of RF/MW components. • Micro assembly experience in a clean room environment is preferred. Experience using analytical techniques such as DOE, FMEAs, etc. and AS9100 is also preferred.
