Job Description
• Makes final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another and relation of various parts to the whole structure or project. • Prepares working mechanical drawings, schematics or diagram of parts and assemblies from sketches, layouts, or designs in accordance with current military and company procedures as applicable. • Incorporates ECO’s (Engineering Change Orders) as required. • Draws charts for presentation of statistical data. • Compiles parts lists as required. Makes orthographic or isometric illustrations as required.
Job Skills
• High School graduate or equivalent including studies in electrical and/or mechanical drawing. • Minimum of three (3) years of mechanical or electromechanical drafting experience required. • Must be able to move from design concept to finished product, including layouts and tolerance valuations and detail drawings. Must be knowledgeable of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings. • Inventor experience.
