Job Description
• Commission, calibrate and maintain vibration-measuring instruments and balancing machines.
• Plans and coordinates activities concerned with installing equipment, investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems with equipment, and eliminating future operational or service difficulties.
• Test and evaluate systems in accordance to product specification.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair product related problems, and recommend modifications as necessary.
• Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs.
• Maintain records of performance reports and related documentation.
• Provide training to customers on use and maintenance of equipment.
• Develop service handbooks and bulletins based on field investigations, engineering changes, and overall knowledge of product.
• Serve as communication link between the customer and the company.
Job Skills
• BS in engineering (BSME preferred, with a concentration in Aerospace or Aircraft) plus 2 years experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Must be proficient in DVM, O-Scope, PC (Windows, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint), and instruments used in troubleshooting of electro schematics diagrams.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• 80% travel, sometimes internationally.
• Clean and valid driver’s license/ good credit rating.
