Job Description
- Component insertion inspection.
- Solder/workmanship inspection on printed circuit boards, multiwire boards, sub‑assemblies and small chassis.
- Harness and cable inspection.
- Point‑to‑point buzz out of wired assemblies and end item spare harnesses.
- Conformal coating inspection.
- Training in one or more of the following: strip force testing of solderless wrapped connections. Tensile strength testing and tool inspection for crimping operations.
- Auditing of ionic contamination test (prior to conformal coating operation).
- Auditing of conformal coating process and inspection of sample for thickness test.
- Performs other duties as directed.
Job Skills
- Inprocess and some final inspection of sub‑assemblies and final assemblies through various stages of manufacturing, utilizing blue prints, Engineering Change Notices, Interdivisional Work Authorizations, contract reviews and company procedures.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be completely familiar with Mil‑Std‑454 and/or Mil‑Std‑2000A.
- Must meet the requirements of the company-training program.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
