Job Description
• Performs a variety of moderately complex technical tasks to assist engineers.
• Test and troubleshoot fast switching, low noise frequency synthesizers down to component level using schematics, block diagrams and layouts.
• Under limited supervision, may assist engineers with fabricating and assembling electronics subassemblies for prototype models from schematic, rough sketches and verbal instruction.
• May completely troubleshoot an electronics system to determine cause and remedy for malfunction.
• May conduct routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing; solving mechanical or electronics problems involved in the operation of the product.
• All other tasks required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.
Job Skills
• A.A.S in Electronic Technology from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
• Desired BSET, BSEE, or equivalent experience.
• Required 1-2 years in RF electronics field.
• Desired more than 2 years as RF electronics field.
• Able to perform operations needed to build and modify printed circuit assemblies (surface mount and through-hole), mechanical assemblies, cables and similar hardware, in accordance with required specifications.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions from engineers and supervisory personnel.
• Able to work from schematics, sketches, samples and prints.
• Able to specify tools and supplies required.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
