Job Description
• Responsible for Internal Corrective Action, Material Review Board Dispositions, and Quality Assurance in the product build process, and customer interaction on Quality issues as required.
• Provide Quality System support, supporting internal audits, statistical data analysis and metric generation.
• A background in electronics manufacturing and experience with IPC 610 Class 3 and IPC-WHMA-620 requirements.
• Participates in Material Review Board Process
• Supports supplier quality at vendors (including performing audits and administering the SCAR process)
• Reviews Purchasing Inquiries and assign Quality Clause’s
• Contract reviews
• Supports ESD, MSDS, 5S, programs as required
• Provides QA support on the implementation of Engineering Change Orders, Inspection Instructions
• Performs Internal Process audits and Operator Cell audits
• Issues Internal Corrective Action Request
• Creates Inspection Instruction from Operation sheets
• Creates and revises Quality procedures as required
Job Skills
• Experience with the implementation and maintenance of Quality Systems
• Knowledgeable in the interpretation and application of the following standards: J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-7711/7721 (Certification for IPC-A-610 and IPC-WHMA-A-620 preferred)
• ESD and MSDS Control Requirements
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principals, including experience with 5S audits
• Understanding of the required Engineering Documents for PWA manufacturing
• Understanding of configuration management (CM), BOM, data and software structures
• Experience with SAP or another MRP is an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience dealing with PWB, PWA, wiring and harnessing.
• ASQ CQE and/or ASQ CSQE a plus
• 3- 5 years experience in an electronics design & manufacturing company
