Job Description
• Performs moderately complex tests using various test equipment. Helps solve mechanical and electronics problems involved in the operation of the product.
• May construct own test fixtures and apparatus as required.
• Builds and tests microwave electronic circuits.
• Prepares test documentation, analyze and summarize results.
• May make suggestions on engineering changes.
• May participate in field assignments as required.
• May perform complex alignments.
Job Skills
• AAS degree in Electronics Technology or tech school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years in related engineering environment with ability to use practical RF/MW theory, basic machine tools and work from schematics and rough sketches.
• Must have understanding and implementation of electronic/engineering principles, documentation and related mathematical skills.
• Must have understanding of microwave measurements and use of microwave test equipment.
• Must have excellent organization skills as well as skill in Microsoft office environment.
