Job Description

• Main focus on Analog, Power Management/Distribution and Digital sub-assembly development, debugging and testing.
• Responsible for solving medium complex engineering problems in one or more phases of a development engineering project involving the design development, fabrication, and testing of devices or systems.
• Works under the general supervision of senior engineering management.
• Must be comfortable with working in a team-focused, collaborative environment and participate in all tasks relating to implementation, integration & testing.
• Position requires a self-starter who is able to self-manage based on what the project team identifies as priorities and flexible enough to succeed in a dynamically changing work environment.
• Must also have excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Development, debugging and testing of analog, digital & power management/distribution hardware.
• Generation of applicable documentation: Test procedures/Datasheets Update schematics & Assembly drawings
• Interfacing with digital engineers, lead engineer, RF engineers and production test technicians.

Job Skills

• Associates Degree or 2 Years of applicable work experience
• Understanding of basic Digital, Analog and DC/DC circuit principles
• Familiar with basic test equipment: Power supplies/DVM/Oscilloscopes/Pulse Generators
• Experience with authoring and debugging VHDL & C code
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or 5 Years of applicable work experience; Knowledge of CPLD/FPGA development tools (Xilinx/Altera); Graphical User Interface (GUI) development tools (Labview/Labwindows); Experience with various micro-controller designs (PIC/Renesas/TI); Familiarity with peripheral interfaces (SPI/I2C/UART/Ethernet); RF Familiarity
