Job Description
- Experience in Automated SMT, P/P, oven profiles, screening operations as well as manual assembly of electronic products in an AS9100 environment.
- Participate as manufacturing representative in concurrent design and development process in order to ensure produceability, define tooling & equipment needed, and review design to cost considerations.
- Provide leadership in defining advanced manufacturing principles and techniques.
- Familiar with lean manufacturing methodologies to improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and ensure on-time product delivery, lower set-up and cycle times.
- Responsible for work cell optimization and production flow layout in manufacturing.
Job Skills
- Familiarity with J- and IPC- standards.
- Facility with process operations sheets, travelers, and standard operating procedures required.
- Goals include higher run rates, better understanding/planning of variable & fixed costs, improved documentation, and conversion of master engineering bills of materials to manufacturing BOMs.
- Familiarity with cellular manufacturing techniques, Kaizen, work flow and capital equipment ROI is required
