Job: Hardware Electrical Engineer

Interface with electro-electronic systems equipment suppliers participating in hardware reviews, witnessing qualification and accelerated lifecycle tests and providing technical support in solving design issues.
Knowledge of electro-electronic equipment development processes, like electronic circuits and printed circuit boards design, electrical and electronic components selection and dimensioning, thermal effects analysis.
Knowledge of Control Systems design
Basic knowledge of DO-160 qualification testing, for tests witnessing and orientation in problems solving.
Basic knowledge of accelerated lifecycle testing processes for tests witnessing and hardware review results evaluation and analysis for design improvements definition.
Basic knowledge of EMI and lightning protection testing and protection features incorporation to the design.
FAA DER designee is desirable.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
Must have a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience. Prior electro-electronics equipment design knowledge is required.
Customer focused with good relationship building skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of components design, manufacturing, installation and qualification.
Highly motivated.
Proficient computer skills with use of Microsoft office applications.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Must possess good written and oral presentation skills.
Effective time management and organizational skills; ability to become involved in a number of projects in a fast paced work environment.
Portuguese or Spanish language skills are a plus.
